Candid uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage:
  • Needed to run Candid. Your answers, your subscription status on this device, and whether you have seen our cookie notice are kept in your browser's local storage, so the tool works and remembers you on this device.
  • Analytics. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how Candid is used, such as which pages are visited and where people stop. Where your personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, so that your information keeps an equivalent level of protection.

8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.
